		<description>Seems obvious to me that if you start running a marathon too fast, you won&#039;t have enough juice left even to finish, let alone win. But then again, I am a long distance runner, pacing is a very important skill in this sport.

What&#039;s more interesting though, is that under stress people tend to focus on the problem a little too much. So much that they develop a form of &quot;tunnel vision&quot; (sometimes literally). As a result they fail to see anything but the problem itself and it means they don&#039;t see even the most obvious solutions. So, unless your people are implementing the same trivial solution for the millionth time, you want them to be creative and that means *relaxed*!</description>
