Hi Heather,

That's great to hear! It was a fun interview. I'm hoping to post up the mp3 sometime soon.

As for the book, I honestly don't plan on offering it as a podcast at this time. As much as I'd like, converting the book to an audio format is very expensive and time consuming (at least if done professionally which is the only way I'd go). However that doesn't mean you can't use a software like Text2Go to convert text to mp3 that can play on your ipod/iphone. Although it's not quite the same as a real person voice, it's still pretty good. I use it fairly frequently myself.

And it's great to hear you subscribed to my newsletter! Thank you for letting me know.

Hi - I heard about the book on small trends interview. Will you be offering it in podcast format? It sounds really interesting - I just never have the time to read!

Thank you! It's great to hear you got a lot from the interview.

I'll be including a link to the mp3 from the show shortly, as soon as I get a minute to catch up.

Funny that you mention California, I lived out there for a few years :)

Actually natively I'm French, though not born in Quebec. I only starting speaking english when I got to elementary school. But having gone to high school and university in English, plus mainly working in English for many years, my English is now much much much stronger than my french now. So much that it takes me at least 2-10 times longer to type a sentence in French than English.

The key to reducing your accent is to learn as many languages as you can early on in life. Once you're a teenager, it's much harder to reduce your accent, in any language.

I've got a doubt: what's your native language? I thought it was English but in the interview you don't seem to have a Canadian accent (at least you don't have the same 'intonation' as the Canadians I know.). If I didn't know you were Canadian, I would say you were Californian but given your first and last names + the fact that you live in Ottawa (I think), would I be right if I say that you're originally from Quebec with French as a native language?
