New LandlordMax Podcast

I’ve got some exciting news to announce, we’ve just started a new LandlordMax Podcast on YouTube. It will be focused on real estate rental market, providing information on all kinds of related topics. We’re planning to release a new video every week, so please subscribe to the channel to get notified when new videos are published.

The goal of each video is to focus in on one specific topic, where we provide as much information and help as we can on it by having a fairly in-depth discussion about the it. For example our very first video is called “How to Show Appreciation to Your Tenants” where we cover everything from the simplest, smallest, and free gestures, all the way to more thoughtful and elaborate expressions of appreciation. If you want to read more about the video, we posted a short description about it on the LandlordMax blog which you can go to by clicking here.

To give you an idea of the types of topics we plan to cover, here’s a short list of some videos we’re already scheduled to publish (the titles are subject to change and they are in no particular order):

  • Landlord Insurance vs Homeowner Insurance
  • How to Spot and Avoid Rental Scams as a Landlord
  • Maintenance on Rental Properties
  • How to Handle a Hoarding Situation
  • How to Clean up After a Hoarding Situation
  • Tips to Reduce Heating Costs in the Winter for Your Tenants
  • Landlord Beginner’s Guide
  • Important Laws Landlords Should Know
  • The Most Commonly Used Real Estate Investment Strategies

And that’s just the start. For example we’re currently working doing the math for a video where we plan to compare what the outcomes would be for an investor if they chose Fixed Interest Rates vs Variable Interest Rate over the last 30-50 years using the historical interest rates for each year. As in which option would come out ahead if say the mortgage started in 2006 vs 2007, or if it started in 2008, or maybe if it was 2020, 2021, 2022, and so on. All the way back to at least 30 years . That video is less informative as per say, but we though it might nonetheless be interesting, and more importantly that it could possibly help some people to select which option to go with now as interests are increasing. All that to say we have a lot of topics we want to cover in the pipeline. That example just happens to be one we started working on this week.

In addition to informational videos we’re also planning to have guests in the not too distant future, specifically industry experts, who will share their knowledge. We’re going to focus on guests that can provide help to investors with managing their properties rather than the “How I bought x properties for $y” types of videos. An example could be a flooring expert that explains what types of floors are important for a rental property. And why they differ, in which ways, and so on. Basically guidance on flooring for a rental property vs a personal home. Videos of that nature. Information that can be both useful and actionable.

We’re very excited about the channel at LandlordMax, and all the potential it brings. If you haven’t already done so, check out our first video now by clicking here, and let us know what you think about it.
